Welcome to the Wee Thistle,
We are a pet friendly, day-time, family run cafè focusing on homemade, good quality Scottish foods. We focus predominantly on hearty breakfasts, lights lunches and our locally very popular homemade pies, sausage rolls, loaded cookies & fruit pies.
We feel it's our responsibility to offer good, honest, tasty and no-faff food that goes hand-in-hand with supporting our local farmers, at reasonable and affordable prices for our customers and served in a welcoming & warm environment.

Chef liam's kitchen
Our in-house chef, Liam, brings a wealth of experience from the wedding industry, to a Michelin-starred kitchen to now, The Wee Thistle. His specialties are his homemade pies but, in particular, the 12hr slow cooked braised beef and red wine pies. Our pies at the Wee Thistle always sell out as soon as they come out of the oven!

Every meal and bake is made from scratch in our kitchen, using traditional recipes and a whole lot of love! Our blueberry & lemon fruit pie recipe has been handed down from three generations!
